Exeter University Shakespeare Company have made a film! Macbeth – and filmed bits of it at the priory!
Exeter University Shakespeare Company presents ‘Macbeth’, adapted to be set in 1930s Soviet Russia and filmed in the style of a film noir crime drama. One of Shakespeare’s classic tragedies, the story follows a young war general, after prophecy dictates his rise in power and leads him into a raging spiral of murder and madness.
