St Nicolas Priory, a Benedictine monastery, was founded in 1087 and is Exeter’s oldest building. It is owned and managed by Exeter Historic Buildings Trust. The Trust exists to help preserve Exeter’s built heritage and make it accessible to the people of Exeter and others.
The Trust owns the two surviving wings of St Nicholas Priory.
Conserving an historic building like St Nicholas Priory is expensive, and in the past 12 years the Trust has contributed nearly £70,000 towards repair and conservation projects in Exeter. Your sponsorship is greatly appreciated an will help us to ensure that the Priory can be enjoyed by future generations.
