Henry VIII is dead, and new reforms imposed by authorities in Exeter are wreaking havoc for the people of Poundstock.
As bellies empty, society fractures and the key to their precious Gildhouse is taken away, the people take action in the only way left to them – they march on Exeter in their thousands. Produced by Exeter Northcott and written by Sarah Dickenson, this world premiere drama gives a voice to the women who shaped this incredible moment in Exeter’s history. Told with original live music and songs, this is a local story of love, passion, kings, queens, battles and murder.
