DESCRIPTION:&nbsp\;\n\nOur trademark summer event is back! The Tudor Re-ena
 ctment of Exeter Siege in the 1530s is happening from 8th to 10th August\,
  11-4pm. We are excited to welcome back Dr Ed Fox and his Commotion Times 
 re-enactment outfit.\n\nExperience the priory as a house under siege in th
 e 16th century\, with cookery\, weapon displays\, crafts\, music\, talks a
 nd children's activities.\n\nRefreshments available throughout the day. Th
 is event has FREE admission\, but donations are gratefully received on the
  door or through our donation button: click here!\n\nDo come and join us t
 o soak up the history of Exeter’s oldest building and this quiet corner 
 of the city. Founded by William the Conqueror in 1087\, St Nicholas Priory
  was home to Benedictine monks for over 400 years and is the oldest buildi
 ng in Exeter. In 1536\, like other monasteries\, it was closed and the rem
 ains became the home of wealthy Tudor merchants.\n\n&nbsp\;
