 Reverend George Oliver D.D. (1781-1861) - A remarkable yet often overlooke
 d figure in local history. We'll explore the West Quarter in the medieval 
 era\, uncovering the diverse community that once surrounded St Nicholas Pr
 iory through newly researched deeds\, journals\, and George Oliver's writi
 ngs.\n\nDoors at 6pm for a 6:30pm start.\n\nDirections\nSt Nicholas Priory
  is on Mint Lane with walking access from Fore Street or Bartholomew Stree
 t West.\n\nThe nearest car park is Mary Arches Street\, which is a five-mi
 nute walk. Exeter Central railway station is a ten-minute walk. The bus
  station is a 15-minute walk with many buses stopping on the High Street w
 hich is ten minutes away.\n\nAccess\nUnfortunately\, due to the nature of 
 this historic building\, there is no wheelchair access for our upstairs ro
 oms.\n\nFacilities\nOur outdoor toilet block can be made available on requ
