Childe Rowland r uns left – clockwise – but Burd Ellen goes ‘widdershins’ – anti- clockwise\, and vanishes.\nChilde Rowland retrieves the ball\, but finds h imself alone. There can be v ery little doubt\, however\, that the sound of the lute was part of the ev eryday life of the building after its conversion to Tudor townhouse. Accompanied on the piano by Konstantinos Terzakis \, Joe is performing two concerts at St Nicholas’ Priory\, Exeter’s ol dest building\, on 9th and 23d June 2023 at 7.30pm.\n\nWith a focus on the Baroque period\, the concerts will reveal not only queer composers of the time (Handel\, Lully)\, but also how music from other artists have become part of LGBTQIA+ history and culture.
