 mance of J. Massenet's Werther at St Nicholas Priory\, Exeter\, on Saturda
 y\, 27 November 2027.\nBased on Goethe's famous novel\, Werther tells the 
 moving story of the passionate young poet Werther\, whose deep love for Ch
 arlotte leads to one of opera's most touching and tragic romances. Renowne
 d for its beautiful melodies\, emotional intensity\, and rich orchestral w
 riting\, Werther is widely regarded as one of the masterpieces of French o
 pera.\nThis special performance will feature outstanding soloists\, with R
 obert Felstead as Werther and Iryna Ilnytska as Charlotte. Performed in th
 e original French with piano accompaniment\, the opera's intimate setting 
 at St Nicholas Priory will allow audiences to experience the drama and emo
 tion of Massenet's music at close quarters.\nExeter Opera Group is proud t
 o bring this celebrated work to Devon audiences and looks forward to shari
