DESCRIPTION:\nAn atmospheric and immersive Christmas experience taking plac
 e throughout Exeter's oldest building. Join Ebenezer Scrooge on a journey 
 through past\, present and future in this theatrical reimagining of Charl
 es Dickens' classic ghost story A Christmas Carol.\n\n\n\n\n\nEvent Inform
 ation\n\nPerformances are at 4pm and 7pm on the various days - please chec
 k to make sure which performances you are on.\n\nDoors open 30 minutes bef
 ore the show. We are unable to admit latecomers once a performance has sta
 rted so please arrive early to avoid disappointment.\n\nThe show lasts app
 roximately 90 minutes and there is no interval.\n\nSt Nicholas Priory can 
 get quite cold in winter. Warm layers and coats are highly recommended.\n\
 n\n\n\nTickets\n\nTickets can be purchased online or via the TicketSource

 s been designed with younger audience members in mind but aspects of the s
 how may be too frightening for some children.\n\nPhotography\n\nThe use of
  cameras and mobile phones is strictly prohibited during the performance.\
 n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSt Nicholas Priory \n\nFounded by William the Conque
 ror in 1087\, the priory was home to Benedictine monks for over 400 years.
  In 1536\, like other monasteries\, it was closed and the remains became t
 he home of wealthy Tudor merchants.\n\nThe two ranges remaining from the o
 riginal four-sided structure are now managed by Exeter Historic Buildings 
 Trust.\n\nDirections \n\nSt Nicholas Priory is located on Mint Lane\, a f
 ootway leading off from Fore Street. The entrance to the lane can be found
  between the Little Drop Of Poison pub and TapiTapa restaurant.\n\nAccess\
 n\nThis is a promenade performance. Some seating will be available during 
 the show but there may be sections where you are required to stand.\n\nUnf
 ortunately\, due to the nature of this historic venue\, Humbug! is not sui
 table for wheelchair users.\n\n\n\n
