DESCRIPTION:St Nicholas Priory is hosting a Craft Fair\, featuring several 
 local creative crafters displaying and selling their beautiful products in
  every historic room of the Priory\, which will act as a fitting backdrop 
 to their colourful stalls and tables\nCome and marvel at the most ancient 
 Undercroft\, the splendid Tudor Parlour and the 'haunted' Kitchen\, before
  climbing the 'new' 15th century stairs (there are easier 20th century one
 s) to witness the grandeur of our Great Hall. All these rooms are a fittin
 g setting for the most beautiful creations on sale from our local artists 
 and crafters.\nEntry is free but donations would be very welcome.\nSt Nich
 olas Priory: Founded by William the Conqueror in 1087\, St Nicholas Priory
  was home to Benedictine monks for over 400 years and is the oldest buildi
 ng in Exeter. In 1536\, like other monasteries\, it was closed and the rem
 ains became the home of wealthy Tudor merchants.\n\nDirections: St Nichola
 s Priory is in Mint Lane with walking access from Fore Street or Bartholom
 ew Street West.\nThe nearest car park is Mary Arches Street (5 mins). Park
 ing at Smythen Street and Harlequin Shopping Centre is also available. Exe
 ter Central railway station (10 mins). The bus station is a 15-minute walk
  away with many buses stopping on the High Street (10 mins).\n\nAccess: Un
 fortunately\, only the ground floor of our building is wheelchair-accessib
 le.\n\nFacilities: Accessible loos and nappy-changing facilities.\n\nIf yo
